MEMBER'S TERMS & CONDITIONS
The minimum contract period for membership is 12 months. If at the end of the 12 months members do not wish to renew their contract one month’s notice period is required.
All membership packages are also subject to a 12-month rolling contract. If a company wishes to end the contract they will be required to pay at least 50% of the remaining monthly fees that add up to the remaining 12 months.
Members may downgrade or upgrade their membership package anytime, they will be expected to pay the current membership dues by the next monthly billing.
SCA reserves the right to terminate a contract within the 12 month contract period in the event of a necessary end of the membership contract.
The Client may promote its quality assured badge of standards, the use of SCA name or any other registered trademarks for advertising purposes with the consent of SCA only.
The Quality Assured membership badge is valid for 12 months from the date of endorsement. SCA would need to approve and provide a new badge covering the next 12 months. In the event of a discontinued Quality Assured status, the member most remove the image from all forms of it's media off or online.
Members shall comply with their obligations under Data Protection Legislation at all times.
Members may not use SCA forms of community media to promote the services of other providers outside of the service partner lists - external providers with no connection to SCA.
Selling a service or product on any SCA media /platform without prior approval. is not accepted We will remove such promotion or advertising and repeat behaviour of this sort may result in the termination of your membership and you will be liable for payment of the remaining months that makes up your 12month contract.
Inappropriate behavior which may result in termination of the SCA contract:
Defamation of character - SCA administration or other members.
Bringing SCA into disrepute
Failure to make monthly subscription payment 60 days past the due date. You will be required to complete the remaining payments covering 12 months.
Breaching members community conduct protocols.
Verbal aggression, abusive language through any form of community media or in-person to other members or SCA staff/service partners.
Service queries or grievances directly shared on any form of community media designed to defame SCA.
inappropriate conduct online.
Members are expected to act respectfully at all times in their interactions with partner services, fellow members, and SCA representatives.
